Privacy.
This page says what happens to the one thing this site asks you for. It is short because the honest answer is short.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist: your email address, the exact promise you were shown when you signed up, and the date you joined. That is the whole list. The page itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties.
What it's used for
Two emails, ever: a note now confirming you're on the list, and one more when Satya opens. Your address is used for those emails and nothing else. It is never sold, never rented, never shared for marketing — not with anyone, not ever.
Who touches it
Three services process it on our behalf, and only to do their jobs: Supabase (where the list is stored), Vercel (which serves this site and, like every host, keeps standard server logs), and Resend (which delivers the emails). No other party receives it.
How long we keep it
- If you unsubscribe, we keep the record that you opted out — permanently. That is what stops us from ever emailing you again, so it is the one thing we don't delete.
- If your address stops working (a hard bounce), the row is deleted within 90 days.
- Everything else is deleted within 90 days after the launch email goes out.
Your choices
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. You can also write to hello@asksatya.com to unsubscribe or to have your address deleted entirely — either way, it's done, no questions asked.
Who is collecting this
Ask Satya — an independent operation (a formal legal entity is being formed; this page updates when it exists) — based in California, United States. Questions about any of this: hello@asksatya.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Since your signup stores the exact promise you were shown, a later change can never quietly rewrite what you agreed to.
